The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the district's sales team, maintaining CRM data integrity, coordinating sales initiatives and ensuring the successful implementation of new business across operational teams.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have a confident, assertive, and approachable personality, combined with a hands-on, can-do attitude.\n\nDuties:Supporting and attending weekly district sales meetings.\nManaging and distributing sales leads and monitoring follow-up activities.\nCoordinating sales training sessions and arranging customer visits and meeting schedules.\nMonitoring CRM data integrity, sales activity and adherence to deadlines.\nPreparing regular sales reports and ensuring accurate and reliable data.\nActing as the district's local expert on sales enablement tools.\nCoordinating bid submissions, including executive summaries, qualitative responses, document formatting, accuracy and deadline management.\nCoordinating and facilitating customer-facing district events and analysing survey feedback.\nSupporting local marketing initiatives and ensuring compliance with corporate branding guidelines.\nCoordinating targeted marketing campaigns and regional newsletters in collaboration with Regional Sales Operations.\nPlanning and managing new customer transitions from the award of business through to operational implementation.\nDefining project scope, developing implementation timelines and coordinating operational and systems requirements.\nManaging transition resources, project schedules, deliverables and quality standards.\nCoordinating cross-functional teams, including customers, sales, branch operations, analysts, product teams and information systems personnel.\nCommunicating customer requirements, project progress and implementation updates to relevant stakeholders.\nDocumenting business processes and implementing agreed operational procedures.\nIdentifying potential risks, resolving outstanding issues and ensuring successful implementation of new business.\nActing as the primary point of contact for customers, sales teams, management and operational stakeholders throughout the transition process.\nFacilitating service reviews and ensuring successful handover to branch operations.\nWorking closely with Regional Sales Operations and GEO Sales Operations to support district and regional business development initiatives.\nAttending relevant training and development sessions and undertaking additional assignments as required.\n\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 5 years' experience within the freight forwarding, transportation or logistics industry within a similar role.\nA relevant four-year tertiary qualification would be advantageous.\nA valid driver's licence and own reliable transport, as local travel may be required.\nStrong systems, AI and IT exposure. \nA strong understanding of freight forwarding and customs brokerage operations.\nExperience in project coordination, project management, business transitions or implementation.\nGood knowledge of supply chain solutions and operational processes.\nAbility to document business processes and workflows.\nFamiliarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and its
