Position only available to those with legal authorization to work in the United States.\nDescription\nSwitchboard is seeking a Senior Network Engineer on behalf of our client, Open Technology Solutions (OTS). We're looking for an experienced network engineer who wants to own a platform, not just work tickets on it. You'll be the primary owner of OTS's Cisco switching and wireless environment, from new office builds and day-to-day support to the long-term roadmap. Built on a cooperative model, OTS delivers enterprise-grade IT infrastructure, support, and innovation to its partner organizations, allowing them to compete at a higher level while keeping costs in check. OTS operates with the values of a credit union at its core: member-focused, collaborative, and committed to long-term relationships over short-term wins.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the Cisco switching and wireless platform end to end, including lifecycle, roadmap recommendations, compliance, and keeping it current and well maintained.\n\nLead and execute new branch builds and related network projects.\n\nSupport day-to-day switching and wireless operations and troubleshoot complex issues across the network.\n\nResolve escalated tickets that our managed services provider can't, and help hold the MSP accountable for the work they own.\n\nBuild and maintain runbooks and documentation the rest of the team can follow.\n\nParticipate in project calls with internal leaders and partner organizations, translating technical work into business outcomes.\n\nShare knowledge with the team, including presenting on your areas of expertise in staff meetings.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams to get things done when the fix lives outside your lane, rather than stopping at the edge of your area.\n\nQualifications\n5+ years of network engineering experience\n\nDeep, hands-on expertise with Cisco switching and wireless\n\nPalo Alto firewall experience\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills at a senior level\n\nNice to have: HPE SD-WAN, network automation, or cloud networking experience\n\nCCNP preferred\n\nA platform-ownership mindset. This is not a ticket-queue job. You own the outcome, not just the task.\n\nSelf-directed. You take work from start to finish without needing to be managed closely.\n\nComfortable in front of people. You can hold your own on a call with leadership or partners.\n\nThrives in change. OTS is in a period of transition, and you'll need to navigate shifting priorities with a level head.\n\nBonus points for a background that blends small-shop creativity with large-enterprise discipline.\n\nCompensation and Details\nCompensation: $135K-$150K + 10% bonus\n\nBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision; open vacation policy and paid sick time; up to 11 paid holidays; 401(k) with employer match and discretionary contribution\n\nSchedule: Full-time.
