The role will lead hands-on product design across the omnichannel experience, guide UX strategy, and help build a design system.\n\nResponsibilities\nOwn Product Design (UI/UX) across the entire omni channel experience\nLead design initiatives from the first discovery conversation through high-fidelity mockups\nSupport the design and development of a robust design system\nWork side by side with product managers, developers, creatives, marketers, and business stakeholders\nThis is a hands-on lead role, you'll set the direction and also execute\n\nSkills\n10+ years of UX/Product Design experience\nPrior experience building robust design systems which span web, desktop, and mobile apps\nSkilled within UI, UX, and basic research\nExperience leading team members (direct or indirect reports)\nAbility to confidently present designs to stakeholders; and justify design decisions\nExpert in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, plus other design and prototyping tools\nComfortable with Jira, Confluence, and remote collaboration tools\nStrong knowledge of WCAG and ADA standards\nExperience in regulated environments i.e. banking, financial services, or insurance\n\nBenefits\nHybrid in Newport News, VA; remote for EST/non-local candidates, with travel 2x/month.\n\nCompany Overview\nA bold vision can only take you so far.
