This is a hybrid position that requires someone based in Minneapolis/St. Paul who can work in-office 3+ days per week\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPackage and automate our Platform, which includes Linux and Kubernetes software, to deploy on bare metal and the cloud, in both internet-connected and secure air gap environments\n\nDevelop CI pipelines and test automation for the deployment of our Platform software\n\nAssist developers with Linux and Kubernetes issues\n\nAssist deployment engineers with Platform issues\n\nManage and monitor development CI resources that run the Platform using the test automation\n\nYou Should Have:\nBash/shell and python scripting experience\n\nDeep knowledge of Kubernetes\n\nA propensity to automate everything you do\n\nThorough experience with Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux\n\nLinux based Containerization such as Docker\n\nExperience working both in the terminal and with user interfaces required for managing IT resources\n\nFamiliarity with virtualization technologies, creating and managing VMs using industry standard tools such as VMWare, Proxmox, and KVM\n\nExperience managing backup resources, snapshots, and conducting failover events\n\nExperience using git version control and DevOps software such as Gitlab\n\nExperience creating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines\n\nAbility and willingness to obtain a US Security Clearance\n\nBonus if you have:\nExperience in hardening infrastructure resources such as STIGing and firewall work.\n\nAnsible, Terraform, and AWS experience\n\nNetworking expertise\n\nExperience packaging internal and internet-based software to work in air gap environments\n\nExperience developing and deploying Kubernetes Helm charts\n\nSwoop Technologies is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
