This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the controlled migration of users, applications, collaboration services, infrastructure components, network services, and business data into a new enterprise target environment.\nWorking across multiple programme workstreams, you will ensure migrations are executed safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to business operations. The role will involve managing complex migration waves, coordinating technical and business stakeholders, and overseeing cutover, service transition, Early Life Support (ELS), and operational readiness activities.\nThis is a highly visible role requiring strong programme delivery, stakeholder management, and migration leadership experience within complex, business-critical environments.\nRequirements\nProven experience as a Migration Manager, Migration Project Manager, Cutover Manager, or Transition Manager.\nStrong understanding of Microsoft 365 migration methodologies.\nExperience managing application, infrastructure, and data migration activities.\nExperience coordinating business readiness and service transition activities.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills at executive and operational levels.\nExcellent planning and programme coordination capabilities.\nStrong risk, issue, dependency, and change management experience.\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, complex environments.\nExperience developing migration runbooks, cutover plans, and readiness assessments.\nFamiliarity with ITIL-based service management practices.\nDesirable Skills:\nExperience delivering integrations following mergers, acquisitions, or business separation programmes.\nExperience within energy, utilities, offshore, industrial, or other operationally critical environments.\nKnowledge of identity and access management migrations.\nExperience working across Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.\nUnderstanding of enterprise collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, and OneDrive.\nExperience managing Transition Service Agreement (TSA) driven migrations.\nBenefits\nAt Sword, our core values and culture are based on caring about our people, investing in training and career development, and building inclusive teams where we are all encouraged to contribute to achieve success.
