We deliver software, IT infrastructure and broader business process solutions and as such you’ll need to be able to demonstrate credibility in this space.\nResponsibilities include:\nLine manage and support delivery colleagues, including delivery line managers, through check-ins, objectives, development and routine people processes\nCoordinate recruitment, onboarding and team training for delivery roles\nAct as the first level of project escalation, escalating material risks to the Operations Lead\nManage resource allocation, capacity forecasting and operational trackers\nOversee project governance, the RAID dashboard, mobilisation and closure\nEnsure customer concerns are owned and resolved, and keep teams informed with clear delivery updates\nPromote compliance with HSE, ISO and information-security requirements, and support timesheet, finance and procurement administration\nRequirements\nExperience managing or supervising delivery teams in a technology, project, service or professional services environment\nA practical understanding of project or service delivery, including plans, actions, risks, reporting and governance routines\nExperience supporting colleagues through regular check-ins, onboarding, development activity and day-to-day performance conversations\nStrong organisation skills and the ability to coordinate workloads, priorities and actions across several teams or assignments\nConfidence working with Project and Service Managers and raising concerns constructively when delivery support is required\nClear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise progress, issues and required actions\nSound judgement, including an understanding of when an issue can be resolved within the team and when it should be escalated\nA collaborative, supportive management style combined with a clear focus on accountability and follow-through\nComfort working with operational data, trackers and standard reporting tools\nBenefits\nAt Sword, our core values and culture are based on caring about our people, investing in training and career development, and building inclusive teams where we are all encouraged to contribute to achieve success.
