We have a passion for using technology to solve business problems, working in partnership with our clients to help in achieving their goals.\nAbout the role:\nAs the OT Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading the successful delivery of Operational Technology (OT) projects across complex industrial and critical national infrastructure environments.\nYou will manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining effective project governance.\nWorking closely with clients and specialists across OT, cyber security, infrastructure and engineering, you will support the delivery of technology transformation, cyber security improvement and operational resilience initiatives.\nThis is an opportunity to take ownership of complex OT projects, build strong client relationships and contribute to the successful delivery of programmes that support the security and resilience of critical operational environments.\nAs an OT Project Manager, you will:\nLead the end-to-end delivery of OT projects, ensuring successful outcomes against agreed scope, timelines, budgets and quality standards\nEstablish and maintain project governance frameworks, delivery methodologies and reporting structures\nDevelop, manage and track project plans, roadmaps, milestones and deliverables\nIdentify, assess and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change requests\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams across OT, cyber security, infrastructure, networking and engineering\nManage project resources, budgets, financial reporting and commercial performance\nLead project meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction\nSupport the delivery of OT cyber security transformation, improvement and maturity programmes\nManage third-party suppliers, contractors and external delivery partners\nEnsure projects are delivered in accordance with agreed governance, quality standards and client requirements\nProvide regular project reporting, communicating progress, risks and key decisions to internal and external stakeholders\nFacilitate collaboration between technical teams, business stakeholders and operational personnel\nSupport the transition of completed projects into operational service, ensuring effective handover and business readiness\nIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement across project delivery processes and methodologies\nRequirements\nYou'll bring proven project management experience within Operational Technology or industrial environments, with the ability to lead complex technical projects, manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver successful outcomes for clients.\nProven experience managing projects within Operational Technology (OT), industrial control systems (ICS) or critical infrastructure environments\nDemonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects or portfolios\nGood understanding of OT environments, industrial systems and associated operational challenges\nKnowledge of relevant OT cyber security standards and frameworks, including IEC 62443, OG86 and the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)\nStrong project planning, governance, risk management and financial control capabilities\nExperience managing project budgets, resources, dependencies and third-party suppliers\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and working across complex stakeholder environments\nStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all organisational levels\nExperience facilitating workshops, project meetings and technical discussions\nExcellent communication, reporting and organisational skills\nAbility to manage competing priorities and deliver projects within challenging environments\nStrong problem-solving skills with a proactive, structured and delivery-focused approach\nConfidence working directly with clients and providing clear project leadership\nExperience delivering OT or IT cyber security transformation, technology modernisation or security maturity improvement programmes would be highly desirable.\nExperience within the energy, utilities, industrial or Critical National Infrastructure sectors would also be advantageous.\nBenefits\nAt Sword, our core values and culture are based on caring about our people, investing in training and career development, and building inclusive teams where we are all encouraged to contribute to achieve success.
