Project Manager(Cyber Security)

About the role:

You will be responsible for delivering the overall project objectives and specific team deliverables, by the planning of project activities and executing assigned tasks/work within the expected quality standards, to ensure the project is a success.

Key attributes:

• Strong experience of planning and managing multiple projects in an IT infrastructure or application environment
• Experience of working within the oil and gas industry
• Understanding of Project Online
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project planning and execution skills
• Ability to develop projects and deliver them against financial and resource constraints
• Proven track record with the use of reporting tools to monitor project activities and analyse project performance
• Strong knowledge of project management principles including Waterfall or Agile

Requirements

Key Technical Skills:

• Experience of delivering security solutions and services focused projects with a good understanding of security principles and Cyber risks
• Understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essential)
• Familiarity of network security, cloud security, and systems architecture, current and upcoming Cyber compliance requirements (e.g., NIS, GDPR,)
• Lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for IS projects, following the agreed IS project delivery framework
• Project estimation for budget and resourcing
• Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
