The expected level will vary depending on the seniority of the role.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nDesign, deliver and continuously improve our AI agents, including real-time voice agents, and the LLM-powered products around them;\nBuild and scale the production backend and platform behind the agents, with high volume, high throughput and reliability in mind;\nIntegrate agents into our software flows, and bring new models into the platform with the benchmarks and evals to assess them;\nOwn architecture and design decisions across agents, voice pipeline and platform;\nGrow the AI function by defining practices, raising the bar in review and mentoring colleagues.\nWhat you need to have:\n4+ years building and running production software;\nDeep expertise in at least one of the following:software architecture and design of high-throughput, scalable systems;\nbuilding agents and integrating them into production software;\nreal-time voice agents (telephony, STT, TTS, latency budgets);\n\nWorking understanding of how LLMs are built and how they behave;\nSolid experience with Python, SQL and event-driven design;\nExperience with cloud platforms (ideally GCP);\nExperience leading complex, ambiguous projects from ideation through to maintenance;\nExperience providing technical oversight and mentoring colleagues;\nFluent, confident communication in English.\nWhat we would love to see:\nExperience shipping LLM-powered features with proper observability and evals;\nExperience in healthcare or another regulated domain;\nExperience designing experiments and reading their results correctly;\nExperience serving several clients from one codebase.\n*The range below reflects base, variable, and equity for this role.\nThis is a starting point, not a ceiling - once someone joins and proves they're outlier talent, we adjust quickly to make sure their compensation matches their impact.\nJob titles may span more than one career level, so actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and market demand, among other factors.
