A key aspect of the position will be ensuring a structured knowledge transfer from the current Java developer and securing the application’s long-term maintainability and operational continuity.\nJob Responsibilities\nTake ownership of the fee and pricing application and drive a structured knowledge-transfer process with the current Java developer.\n\nDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.\n\nBuild and enhance REST and SOAP interfaces, including API specifications and documentation with OpenAPI/Swagger.\n\nContribute to operational and administrative user interfaces using Vue.js or Angular when required.\n\nManage integrations with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server using JPA/Hibernate, SQL, PL/SQL, and Liquibase.\n\nMaintain and improve CI/CD processes based on Git, Maven, and YAML pipelines, including automated testing and quality controls.\n\nProvide production support by investigating incidents, addressing performance issues, and improving application stability, deployment, and rollback procedures.\n\nDocument architecture, business rules, dependencies, operational procedures, and runbooks while collaborating closely with development, QA, security, platform, and business teams.\n\nRequirements\nJob Requirements\n7 to 15 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on experience supporting production applications.\n\nStrong expertise in Java 8 or later, ideally Java 17, with solid knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.\n\nProven experience designing and maintaining REST/SOAP APIs, with knowledge of HTTP and OpenAPI/Swagger.\n\nGood command of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including JPA/Hibernate, SQL, Liquibase, database performance, and basic PL/SQL.\n\nPractical experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, particularly JUnit 5, Mockito and Cucumber.\n\nGood understanding of application security and software quality practices, including OAuth2/OIDC, Kerberos and OWASP principles.
