We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for an Accountant to support daily accounting operations, closing activities, and compliance with a growing SpaceTech company. You will maintain accurate financial records and support fixed assets, inventory, and financial documentation processes.\nYour responsibilities:\nProcess accounting transactions and maintain accurate accounting records. \nVerify accounting documents and supporting evidence. \nPrepare account reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. \nMaintain accounting documentation and ensure compliance with accounting procedures and policies. \nMaintain the fixed assets register and support depreciation and capitalization processes. \nVerify inventory and warehouse documentation and reconcile inventory balances. \nSupport inventory counts, stock verification activities, and discrepancy investigations. \nSupport accounting and reporting activities related to grants and subsidized projects. \nPrepare documentation for audits, inspections, and public institutions, while contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives. \nRequirements:\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. \nAt least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, or technology environment. \nPractical knowledge of accounting principles and processes. \nWorking knowledge of VAT regulations. \nExperience working with ERP systems. \nStrong Excel skills. \nEnglish at a minimum B1 level. \nStrong attention to detail and an analytical mindset. \nNice to have:Experience in fixed assets accounting. \nExperience in inventory or warehouse accounting. \nExperience supporting grants or subsidized projects.\nWe offer:\nHybrid work model with predominantly remote work and occasional visits in our offices (main office in Bydgoszcz, secondary in Zielonka near Bydgoszcz). \nCompensation: PLN 8,000-11,000 gross/month (UoP), depending on experience and skills. \nFull-time position with flexible working hours.\nPrivate medical care (LuxMed) and sports package (Multisport). \nStructured onboarding with dedicated support during the first weeks. \nThe opportunity to support accurate and compliant accounting operations in a growing SpaceTech company. \nAs part of your participation in the recruitment process, we will process your personal data.
