Your role will be to make sure that delivered functionality meets business requirements, acceptance criteria, and user expectations.\nYou will work closely with Development and Product teams, turning requirements into structured test scenarios, identifying defects, validating fixes, and providing clear feedback throughout the development process. You will also help us make our QA practices more consistent, transparent, and effective as the company grows.\nThis is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working independently, investigating how systems behave, asking questions when something is unclear, and taking responsibility for the quality of their work. You will work primarily with manual testing, while also having the opportunity to contribute to testing non-LLM machine learning models if you have the relevant experience.\nWhat You Will Do\nOwn the functional quality of assigned features and releases. \nAnalyse business requirements and translate them into structured test cases and test scenarios. \nDesign, maintain, and execute manual tests using Azure Test Plans or similar tools. \nIdentify, document, and track defects in ClickUp, providing clear, reproducible bug reports. \nValidate REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Bruno, including requests, responses, HTTP methods, and status codes. \nValidate data integrity and end-to-end data flows using PostgreSQL/SQL queries. \nUse browser DevTools to investigate issues and support troubleshooting. \nVerify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure changes do not introduce new issues. \nMaintain test plans, test cases, and other QA documentation. \nWork closely with Product and Development teams to clarify requirements, communicate risks, and improve product quality. \nContribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing practices, and team ways of working. \nWhere applicable, support QA activities related to non-LLM machine learning models, including local inference runs, data validation, output consistency, and awareness of model drift. \nWhat You Bring\nMust-have\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing. \nPractical knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies. \nHands-on experience testing REST APIs, preferably with Postman or Bruno. \nGood understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and request/response structures. \nPractical SQL skills, preferably with PostgreSQL. \nProficiency with browser DevTools. \nExperience with Azure Test Plans or similar test management tools. \nStrong skills in defect reporting and tracking, with a focus on clarity and reproducibility. \nExperience working in a fast-paced startup or similarly dynamic environment. \nGood command of Polish & English, allowing you to communicate across teams and work comfortably with technical documentation. \nA professional, proactive, and independent approach to work. \nA strong commitment to quality and a habit of communicating and reporting issues openly. \nNice to Have\n\nExperience testing non-LLM machine learning models. \nHands-on experience running local ML inference. \nKnowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies. \nBachelor's degree or higher. \nBasic knowledge of security testing, e.g. Burp Suite or similar tools. \nBasic scripting skills in Python, C#, or PowerShell. \nPrevious experience working with software or technologies related to space, astronomy, or other technically complex domains.\n What We OfferRemote work model (occasional visits at HQ in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka). \nCompensation: PLN 9,000-14,000 gross/month (UoP), depending on experience and skills. \nWork in a rapidly growing company within the prestigious Space industry. \nFulltime position with flexible working hours. \nPrivate medical care (LuxMed) and sports package (Multisport). \nStructured onboarding with dedicated support during the first weeks. \nWhy Sybilla?\n At Sybilla, we don't just observe space.
