Visit sycomp.com for more information.\nRole Overview\nWe are looking for a dynamic IT Infrastructure Project Manager to support projects for office buildouts for Data Centers. \nKey Responsibilities\nManage projects through the complete lifecycle: Requirements → Design → Procurement → Construction → Technology Deployment →Commissioning → Employee Readiness → Handover. \nDevelop and maintain project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), budgets, milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource plans. \nReview architectural drawings, technology designs, floor plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and implementation plans. \nCoordinate workplace technology requirements including: \nMain Distribution Frame/Intermediate Distribution Frame (MDF/IDF) rooms \nStructured copper and fiber cabling \nNetwork racks and cabinets \nLAN/WAN connectivity \nEnterprise Wi-Fi \nConference room and collaboration technology \nDigital signage \nPhysical security and access-control systems \nUPS and technology power requirements \nEnd-user technology readiness \nConduct site surveys and validate power, cooling, cable pathways, equipment locations, rack layouts, telecom rooms, and infrastructure readiness. \nAlign technology installation activities with construction schedules and site-access requirements. \nManage equipment procurement, long-lead items, logistics, staging, delivery, and installation schedules. \nTrack contractor and vendor performance against schedule, quality, cost, safety, and contractual requirements. \nManage Requests for Information (RFIs), change requests, change orders, scope modifications, and associated schedule or budget impacts. \nMaintain RAID logs covering Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies. \nLead weekly project meetings, construction/technology coordination meetings, executive reviews, and readiness meetings. \nProvide clear reporting on schedule, budget, risks, decisions, dependencies, and milestone status. \nCoordinate testing and commissioning of network, Wi-Fi, AV, security, cabling, and supporting infrastructure. \nManage punch-list resolution and ensure outstanding defects are closed before final acceptance. \nCoordinate office operational-readiness and Day-1 readiness activities across technology and workplace teams. \nManage project closeout documentation including: \nAs-built drawings \nRack elevations \nCable test results \nAsset inventories \nEquipment documentation \nWarranty information \nConfiguration records \nPunch-list closure \nOperational handover documentation \nConduct lessons-learned reviews and drive continuous improvements across future Salesforce office-build projects. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience. \n5+ years of project management experience implementing IT infrastructure projects \nExperience coordinating multiple internal teams, contractors, consultants, and technology vendors. \nExperience managing schedules, budgets, procurement, risks, dependencies, change control, and project governance. \nUnderstanding of structured cabling, networking, Wi-Fi, AV, security, and corporate workplace infrastructure. \nAbility to interpret floor plans, technology drawings, rack elevations, and implementation schedules. \nStrong stakeholder, vendor, communication, negotiation, and escalation-management skills. \nAbility to manage multiple concurrent office-build projects across different locations. \nWhy Join Sycomp\nTechnology Means the World to Us\n\nTechnology connects people, enables business, fosters innovation, and helps organizations operate without boundaries.
