This role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, translate them into analytical solutions, and help drive operational and strategic improvements across the enterprise.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\n(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)\nFinancial and business reports, recommendations, and analysis:\nCompile organizational performance data and develop performance reports with meaningful metrics and data storytelling\nDevelop summary of findings and provide recommendations to the manager of Enterprise Analytics\nGenerate daily, weekly, and monthly reports in accordance with department and company needs, and best practices.\nPartner with departments to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that support business objectives.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analyses using tools such as Tableau, Excel, and SQL.\nPerform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency.\nIdentify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business recommendations.\nDocument data sources, methodologies, and processes to ensure transparency and repeatability.\nSupport data governance and quality initiatives.\nEffectively leverages storytelling to communicate insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.\n\nJob Specifications:\nEducation and Experience:\nEssential:\nBachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics or Finance or related field or equivalent experience\n1–3 years of experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.\nProficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\n\nDesirable:\nExperience with R and/or Python is a strong plus.\nExperience in gaming and/or hospitality analytics\nMBA or other graduate level degree\n\nSkills and Knowledge:\nEssential:\nProficiency in Excel spreadsheet applications\nProficiency in SQL\nProficiency in Tableau or other data visualization tools\nAbility to perform complex mathematical calculations\nAbility to communicate and interact effectively with guests and team members\nAbility to prioritize and perform multiple tasks and assignments\nAbility to manage large projects and multiple projects to completion\nAbility to identify opportunities, assess trends and provide recommendations\nAbility to document and complete office forms\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents\nAbility to appear for work on time\nAbility to maintain professionalism and composure\nAbility to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions\nAbility to accept constructive criticism\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\nAbility to analyze, compile and disseminate complex information in a clear and concise manner\nAbility to analyze complex problems and make sound judgments\n\nDesirable:\nMulti-lingual\nAdvanced computer skills\n\nSupervisory/Managerial Accountability:\nDirect: None\nIndirect: None\n\nPlease note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
