You'll work across the experiences used by our customers (deal leads and investors) and the internal teams that support them, with broad ownership over the workflows that make our platform reliable, trustworthy, and easy to use.\nThis is a high-impact role for a PM who thrives on complex systems, moves quickly with strong judgment, and wants broad ownership across critical product surfaces in a regulated environment.\nThis is a hybrid role based in San Francisco or New York City with in-office attendance of two to three days per week.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn High-Leverage Product Areas\nIn collaboration with design and engineering, you'll own one or more of our core product areas, spanning both customer-facing experiences and the internal systems that support a complex, regulated business.\n\nManage a dedicated team roadmap by driving discussion and alignment relative to prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic goals.\n\nModel and shape a best in class product development process, from ideation, to validation, to launch, and post-launch analysis.\n\nStrengthen your understanding of the fintech industry, private market landscape, and competitive trends to ensure our products remain a leader in our space.\n\nConduct market research and collect customer feedback to identify pain points and opportunities for future product development efforts.\n\nServe as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including C-suite executives and clients, by effectively communicating and aligning on product strategies, prioritization, and ensure all stakeholders understand the roadmap and its rationale.\n\nBuild products that balance accuracy, trust, and usability across complex, multi-step workflows\n\nTreat complex, systems-heavy experiences as first-class product areas.\n\nDrive Strategy Through Execution\nDefine clear product direction, priorities, and roadmaps for complex product areas\n\nBreak down ambiguous problems into clear, executable plans\n\nMake pragmatic tradeoffs that balance speed, quality, and regulatory constraints\n\nDeliver products that create meaningful customer and business impact\n\nBuild in a Regulated Environment\nWork closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Support, and Operations to understand requirements and constraints\n\nTranslate regulatory and operational needs into durable, user-centered product solutions\n\nEnsure products are accurate, auditable, and trustworthy without sacrificing clarity or usability\n\nData-Driven, Detail-Oriented Decision Making\nDefine success metrics and use data to guide prioritization and iteration\n\nMaintain a high bar for detail across workflows, edge cases, and documentation\n\nIdentify opportunities to simplify and automate complex processes\n\nClearly document product behavior and decisions\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n6+ years of product management experience, with ownership of complex or systems-heavy products\nAdditional years of experience and scope expected for Staff level.\n\nSenior level judgment, with the ability to operate independently and drive large or multiple product areas.\n\nFor Staff-level candidates: a track record of driving product strategy across multiple teams or areas, mentoring other PMs, and influencing org-level direction.\n\nProven ability to deliver outsized impact by moving quickly and thoughtfully\n\nExperience in regulated industries (capital markets, fintech, financial services, healthcare) required, with a background in private markets and alternative investments a plus\n\nStrong systems thinker with end-to-end ownership mindset\n\nHighly data-driven, with strong attention to detail and documentation\n\nCreative problem solver comfortable operating in ambiguity\n\nExperience in fast-moving or early-stage environments a plus\n\nExperience with agentic AI and workflow automation a plus\n\nSydecar’s values\nOur values are important to the way we live and work at Sydecar.
