You will play a key role in optimising asset lifecycle performance, supporting the delivery of reliable services to our customers and communities.\nWorking across multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to engineering assurance activities, standards development, technical governance and innovation initiatives. This is an opportunity to influence strategic engineering decisions while supporting the development of future engineering capability within the organisation.\nWhat you'll be doing\nDevelop, maintain and govern structural engineering standards, specifications and technical guidelines.\nProvide subject matter expertise and risk management advice across operational, maintenance and project activities.\nSupport engineering assurance activities, including evaluation of innovations and assessment of technical deviations.\nRepresent Sydney Water within industry forums and promote engineering excellence and innovation.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across engineering practices, systems and processes.\nAbout you\nTo be successful in this role, you will bring:\nA Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Structural Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia or under the Washington Accord.\nAt least 8 years' experience with structural engineering, including a minimum of 3 years’ operating at a senior level.\nAdvanced knowledge of Engineering Standards and their development\nStrong knowledge of engineering design and construction practices within complex infrastructure environments.\nExcellent stakeholder engagement, technical communication and report writing capabilities.\nExperience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams and quality assurance frameworks.\nDoes this sound like you?
