And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.\nJob Description - L2 AVD / Windows 365 Support Engineer (Infrastructure Workplace)\nLocation: Pune, India\nContext\nWithin Infrastructure Workplace, this role provides Tier 2 operational support for Syensqo’s virtual desktop services based on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 Cloud PC, covering both hybrid identity and Microsoft Entra ID-only environments. The role ensures service stability, rapid restoration, and consistent user experience, with FSLogix as a mandatory core competency.\nKey accountabilities\nService operations (L2)\nRestore service for L2 incidents/requests related to AVD and Windows 365 within agreed SLAs/OLAs.\nPerform advanced troubleshooting for:\n FSLogix (profiles/ODFC containers, performance, corruption/locking, permissions, storage latency).\nAVD connectivity/session issues, host pool/session host health, agent/bootloader problems, scaling plan impacts.\nWindows 365 provisioning and access issues; Cloud PC connectivity and policy/application impacts.\nEnd-user experience topics: app launch, logon slowness, printing/redirection, audio/video, Teams optimization basics.\nMonitoring, stability & continuous improvement\nUse Azure diagnostics and monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics/KQL basics, AVD Insights, Event Viewer) to identify patterns and reduce repeat incidents.\nExecute standard operational changes/runbooks (host lifecycle tasks, capacity actions, support during image rollouts/patch windows).\nContribute to knowledge management: KBs, runbooks, known errors, and operational checklists.\nCollaboration & escalation\nPartner with Identity, Network, Security and Endpoint teams to resolve cross-domain issues (Conditional Access impact triage, DNS/routing/proxy, device policy).\nEscalate to L3 with complete evidence (timeline, impact, logs, KQL outputs, reproduction steps, interim mitigations).\nKey interfaces (stakeholders)\nInfrastructure Workplace (L3 engineering, service owners)\nIdentity & Access Management (hybrid/Entra ID-only)\nNetwork & Security operations\nEndpoint management (Intune/MECM as applicable)\nMicrosoft support (via L3/service owner)\nKnowledge & experience (requirements)\n2-5 years in EUC/VDI support with hands-on AVD and/or Windows 365 exposure.\nMandatory: strong FSLogix troubleshooting and operational experience.\nStrong Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 Apps troubleshooting in virtualized environments.\nWorking knowledge of Azure fundamentals (VMs, VNets, NSGs, DNS basics, storage basics).\nITSM experience (incident/problem/change; ServiceNow or similar).\nGood to have\n Nerdio knowledge (nice to have).\nPowerShell for diagnostics and repetitive tasks.\nTeams optimization and performance troubleshooting exposure.\nBehaviors (Syensqo-aligned)\nCompliance-first and risk-aware (follows change controls; protects data).\nEvidence-based problem solving (“scientific explorer” mindset).\nCustomer-centric communication and strong operational discipline.\nCollaborative, proactive, and improvement-oriented.\nAbout us\nSyensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
