Applications Engineering is the technical excellence organization within Customer Engineering, responsible for driving growth and customer satisfaction by leading the development and adoption of new and existing technologies in the composites industry.\n\nWe count on you for:\nDevelop and advance new composite materials and manufacturing technologies aligned with market trends and customer needs.\n\nLead cross-functional development efforts to convert innovation opportunities into viable solutions by integrating material selection, manufacturing processes, and part design.\n\nIdentify technology gaps and advise on future product and process development priorities.\n\nServe as the primary technical interface with customers, acting as the “voice of the customer” within Syensqo’s internal teams.\n\nPromote Syensqo products and technologies, clearly articulating value propositions to customers.\n\nAdvise on material and process selection for new composite application development.\n\nYou can count on us for:\nThe opportunity to work on cutting-edge composite materials and processing technologies for aerospace structures.\n\nExposure to global customers and advanced systems, with a broad view of emerging technologies and applications.\n\nA dynamic environment that will challenge your skill set and support the growth of your expertise and technical knowledge.\n\nYou will bring:\nBachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Material Science discipline.\n\nMinimum 3 plus years demonstrated work experience including: problem solving, research and development, project management, effective communication with stakeholders, relationship building, and identification of new opportunities in aerospace composite structures.\n\nMinimum of 2 plus years' experience on reviewing composite part designs / drawings for manufacturability / specification compliance.\n\nMinimum of 3 plus years' experience on Research and Development of composite materials and processing technologies including simulation.\n\nAt least 3 plus years in working and understanding of the aerospace industry including OEMs, their suppliers, various programs, aerospace quality systems, composite testing requirements, statistical process control and capability, etc.\n\nYou will get:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\n\nSince actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,800 to $140,000 per year.Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.\n\n16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations\n\nTraining platform for all employees\n\nFree language courses (24 languages available)\n\nFree well-being sessions (physical and psychological)\n\nAdditional information:\nPosition requires the handling of customer proprietary information and confidential documents.
