This individual will be responsible for application development activities in the French Market, with main focus on Auto market incld. Electrification\nResponsibilities\nDevelop technical expertise on existing and new applications of Syensqo’s products in collaboration with R&D, Marketing, Sales and other internal functions, as well as with external parties like customers or testing institutes\nProvide proactive technical consultation and subject-matter expertise in order to anticipate problems and identify excellent technical solutions for customers and leads\nDevelop and maintain relationships with customers at various levels of their organization\nNetwork with industry technology managers at final users and within industry associations\nGather intelligence information on evolving market needs and technology trends\nIdentify new market opportunities with existing and new customers\nDevelop and present new applications to customers and leads\nPresent technologies and products at technical conferences\nTrain customers on the use and benefits of the products\nInvestigate and resolve customer complaints\nPrepare and present technical presentations, articles, training, product databases and other technical literature/documentation for internal and external use\nParticipate in other activities as assigned or requested\nEducation and Experience\nMin. Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering, Material science, mechanical engineering or a related technical field. \n5+ years of technical support or research experience in the fields related to Design and injection/ extrusion processing technology of Plastic Polymers .\nProfound understanding of polymer chemistry, material properties, structural part/tooling design, equipment and processing technology for targeted markets.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills-able to diagnose complex issues under pressure.\nCAE/Moldflow knowledge to communicate results to assigned customers\nExcellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal cross-functional teams with strong influencing skills.\nHighly motivative, cooperative and teamworking\nStrong business acumen (customer-oriented mindset)\nSkills\nBusiness communication in French (native) and English: Good communication skills with global customers and colleagues\nComputer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint)\nYou will get:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\nThe France base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is 75 000€ to 90 000€ per year.
