In this role, you will contribute to strategic packaging initiatives while supporting a major sustainability and regulatory transformation program linked to the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).\nYou will work in a lean, international, and highly collaborative environment, interacting with procurement professionals, packaging experts, sustainability specialists, supply chain teams, and business stakeholders across the globe. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to global procurement, project coordination, sustainability, and digital ways of working.\nWe count on you for:\nSupporting the implementation of our PPWR compliance roadmap by helping coordinate projects across different business units and functions;\nTracking project plans, milestones, deliverables, and action items to ensure progress is maintained;\nOrganizing meetings, preparing agendas and summaries, and following up on key actions and decisions;\nConsolidating information from multiple stakeholders and preparing project status updates;\nIdentifying potential risks, challenges, and roadblocks and helping facilitate timely resolution;\nMaintaining project documentation, reporting tools, and governance materials;\nSupporting senior procurement professionals on selected sourcing and supplier-related initiatives;\nAssisting with market research, supplier information gathering, and sourcing preparation activities;\nContributing to data analysis, reporting, and the use of digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions;\nCollaborating effectively with colleagues across regions and functions in a global environment.\nYou can count on us for:\nExposure to a global procurement organization managing strategic packaging categories;\nThe opportunity to actively contribute to a major regulatory and sustainability transformation program;\nClose collaboration with experienced category managers and cross-functional experts;\nLearning opportunities in project management, stakeholder engagement, sourcing processes, and supplier management;\nHands-on experience with sustainability, circular economy, and packaging-related topics;\nDevelopment of digital, analytical, and business skills in an international environment;\nA supportive team that values curiosity, initiative, collaboration, and continuous learning.\nYou will bring:\nCurrently pursuing, or recently completed, a degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, Sustainability, or a related field;\nUp to 2 years of experience through internships, academic projects, or first professional experience;\nStrong organizational, planning, and coordination skills;\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and work with different stakeholders simultaneously;\nInterest in sustainability, circular economy, and regulatory topics;\nInterest in digital tools, data analysis, and AI-enabled ways of working;\nStrong communication and collaboration skills;\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of reporting or data visualization tools is a plus;\nFluent English, both written and spoken;\nA proactive, structured, reliable, and learning-oriented mindset.\nYou will get:\n\nCompetitive gratification;\nFood allowance according to the Syensqo.\nAdditional information:\nDuration: 6-12 months (internship) or up to 24 months (VIE);\nLocation: Brussels, Belgium or Bollate, Italy;\nGlobal scope with exposure to teams across EMEA, North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific;\nLimited travel may be required depending on project needs.\nAbout us\nSyensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
