And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.\nWe are looking for:\nAn experienced HSE Manager for Aubervilliers (Paris / R&I) and Silex² (Lyon / Tertiary) sites.\nRight-hand man/women, he/she assists the Site Director in properly identifying hazards and controlling risks within the facility, in compliance with all regulations and Group requirements. He/she will be in charge of a team of 3 HSE technicians and 1apprentice.\nThe HSE Manager will be responsible for:\nDeveloping, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and sustainability across our site\nSupporting Syensqo’s commitment to safe, sustainable, and ethical practices\nCovering responsibility for the global safety of the sites and organizational safety of Syensqo R&I Labs\nBeing the point of contact for Syensqo GBU Initiatives and Companies on site of HSE \nWe count on you for:\nDeveloping and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with Syensqo’s Life saving rules , sustainability goals and regulatory requirements\nAdvising management on compliance requirements regarding applicable EU legislation, ensuring required compliance\nConducting regular risk assessments thanks to a strong R&I expertise and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions\nLeading incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and documentation of findings.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.\nProviding training and guidance to employees on HSE best practices and regulatory compliance.\nMonitoring and analyze HSE performance metrics to drive continuous improvement\nFostering a “Speak Up” culture where employees feel safe to raise concerns and contribute to a safe working environment\nCoordinating the site’s emergency plan\nEvaluating the HSE performance of the employees under his responsibility\nPeriodically participating in the management team’s “Safety Dialogues”\nYou will bring:\nSenior R&I Manager with HSE experience or strong HSE awareness \nComprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards and guidance\nBackground: Experience in a research organization or laboratory environment, with a strong understanding of lab management, priorities, and safety challenges.\nExpertise: Practical knowledge of health & safety issues in labs; a formal HSE qualification is a plus, but not essential.\nExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels\nAbility to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive environment\nCollaboration: Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels, including with external partners.
