And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.\nWe are looking for:\nThe Production Engineer is responsible for providing technical leadership and support to ensure that currently defined processes meet or exceed department's target in terms of HSE, Quality, Productivity and cost.\nWe count on you for:\nAssures clearly defined procedures and instructions are documented and issued to support the improvements developed by the Process Engineers.\nDevelops and maintains BOM and routings.\nSupports the Operations Manager's and Process Engineers' improvement initiatives.\nLead role in ensuring process parameters of existing process are in statistical control.\nEvaluates daily performance and identifies and eliminates special cause variations.\nReports variance reports for all production orders.\nLeads investigation and defines corrective actions for closed job variances.\nInvestigates and proposes corrective actions for quality upsets identified by Quality Engineers.\nTransfers engineering instructions for trials and non-standard products into an executable plan.\nProvides day to day technical trouble-shooting for the department.\nDevelops system for measuring and reporting performance vs. productivity and quality goals.\nPerforms hazard analysis along with SH&E engineers to develop procedures for non-routine tasks.\nDefines operational guidelines in finite scheduling.\nPrimary technical liaison with Production Coordinator in the development of training modules.\nShare best operational practices with other Production Engineers.\nProvide technical support in capital improvement projects and development of capital budget.\nBack-up to Production Area Leader as management contact for ERT issues within physical department.\nYou can count on us for:\nBe part of and contribute to a once-in-a-lifetime change journey \nJoin a transversal and dynamic team \nOpportunities for growth and learning\nEncouraging a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values and respects individual differences and backgrounds\nYou will bring:\nBachelor's level degree in Engineering required\nChemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering degree is preferred.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing environment.\nTroubleshooting and problem solving skills are essential to resolve quality and efficiency issues.\nUnderstanding of Statistical Process Control methodology is required to maintain operating processes at target limits.\nProficient in written and verbal communication and ability to act as an individual contributor or as a project team leader.\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access are required to effectively analyze large volumes of process data to ensure compliance to established control limits.\nPrefer Six Sigma experience in process improvements and optimization.\nAn understanding of process flow and how various chemical, mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems interact to produce a product of the desired quality in a timely and cost-effective manner.\nYou will get:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\nThe U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $88,560 to $110,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
