This person will be a member of the operations team that is responsible for safe, reliable, & cost effective operations. The engineer will work on the optimization of unit operations & small/medium projects. This position is expected to support improvements in our HSE, Quality, Production, and Cost performance. The engineer will lead efforts to improve reliability and support Operational Excellence.\nWe count on you for:\nProviding process engineering assistance to troubleshoot operational problems, minimize unit interruptions, and maximize capacity utilization.\nMonitor the day-to-day performance of the unit. Develop, propose, implement and/or follow up on process and facility improvements involved in ongoing operations (variable cost, productivity, quality, HSE, reliability, maintenance…)\nCoordinate the activities related to the identification, monitoring and control of key process parameters.\nInteract with unit operators for troubleshooting and as needed to accomplish safe production goals\nDevelop ways to increase product yields, OEE and reduce variable costs while maintaining the needed Quality and HSE standards\nDevelop and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC tools to enhance production quality reliability and On Aim Quality.\nLead the internal investigation team in front of a customer complaint - or internally detected anomaly - related to product quality and for prepare the related report\nSupport the preparation and successful occurrence of customer audits\nCoordinate the recovery/reworking of off-spec production.\nActively participate to new product industrialization trials.\nContribute to the development of preventative maintenance plans.\nYou can count on us for:\nWe offer the opportunity to join an exciting growth company\nA full range of benefits as expected of a successful company\nOpportunities for growth and learning\nEncouraging a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that values and respects individual differences and backgrounds\n\nYou will bring:\nBS degree in Chemical Engineering\n3-5 years of experience in manufacturing process\nExperienced in polymer processing technologies is a plus.\nExperience with simulation tools (ASPEN) is a plus.\nStrong technical and analytical skills.\nAble to work independently and effectively with both external customers and globally based internal team.\nGood communication skills.\nAbility to influence.\nGood understanding of product quality requirements and customer’s needs.\n\nYou will get:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\nThe U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $88,480 to $110,600. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
