And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.\nWe are looking for:\nWe are currently looking for a Qualifications Engineer for our site in Havre De Grace, MD.\nWe count on you for:\nInitiate, develop, and execute product qualifications in support of raw material or finished goods changes for aerospace materials\nInterpret and recommend qualification strategies in compliance with corporate standards\nDevelop close interactive collaborative relationships with manufacturing, quality, customer engineering, and account managers \nFoster relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure clear communications facilitate effective and efficient requalification projects\nFollow management of change procedures in close coordination with site and global quality organizations \nYou can count on us for:\nJoining a dynamic team at the heart of our business! \nInteracting with all parts of the organization.\nLearning business processes, strategies, and high standards important to our business. \nLearning experiences that will ready the applicant for a broad selection of roles beyond this team, including management opportunities. \nYou will bring:\nBS or MS in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical/Materials Engineering\nKnowledge of aerospace adhesive resin system formulations and/or applications (i.e. epoxy, phenolic, polyamide)\nMust be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision\nMust set high quality standards and have a strong sense of urgency (action oriented)\nAbility to create and lead cross functional teams engaging internal and external customers\nTakes initiative in solving complex technical and process problems\nGood organization skills, ability to learn and manage multiple projects\nAbility to display and develop project management skills\nBasic to intermediate understanding of the composite industry, including resin families, fibers\nProblem solving, technical presentations, relationship building and technical conflict resolution\nBasic understanding of analytical, physical, and mechanical test methods \nBasic understanding of statistical analysis\nLanguages: English is a must. \nYou will get:\nThe U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $88,000 to $123,000 per year.\nSince actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.\nTotal compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives. \nCompetitive salary (Assess the possibility to add salary range in the job ad) and benefits package\n16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations\nTraining platform for all employees\nFree well-being sessions (physical and psychological) \nAdditional information:\nDomestic travel is occasionally required.
