Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar).
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, etc. ), and automation for deployment and monitoring.
• Lead by example with hands-on engineering, designing solutions, reviewing code, and driving best practices for reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues, participating in on-call rotations as needed.
• Collaborate with application engineering and security teams to improve service reliability, observability, and operational processes.
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools or processes to improve DevOps efficiency and platform health.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, documentation, and occasional mentoring of junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering (strong senior IC track record, not managerial).
• Expert in cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems.
• Proficient in writing automation and infrastructure code (Python, Go, Shell, Terraform, etc. ).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools (e. g., Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
• Deep understanding of Linux/Unix internals, networking, and security in cloud-native environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and operational rigor.
