We're looking for individuals ready to define the intersection of quantum and AI and drive its profound global impact.\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking an experimental physicist with strong laboratory experience in atomic, optical, or quantum systems. You will play a key role in building and operating cutting-edge experimental platforms for qubit control, measurement, and scaling. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, creative problem-solving, and collaborating across disciplines to make new quantum technologies a reality.\nWhat You'll Work On\nDesign, construct, and characterize precision optical and/or cryogenic systems for quantum experiments.\n\nUnderstand and implement protocols for qubit preparation, control, and readout.\n\nIntegrate control electronics, laser or rf and microwave systems, and data acquisition.\n\nAnalyze experimental results and optimize system performance.\n\nCross-team collaboration to guide system design and development.\n\nYou May Be a Good Fit If You Have\nPh.D. in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.\n\nHands-on experience working with advanced laboratory instrumentation and quantum systems including AMO physics, solid-state and/or superconducting systems.\n\nFamiliarity with qubit control, spectroscopy, or precision measurement techniques.\n\nStrong background in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem solving.\n\nExperience with Python or similar tools for experiment automation.\n\nExcellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.\n\nHow We’re Different\nAt Sygaldry, curiosity and intellectual courage drive our work.
