Strive for both simplicity and performance.\nProduce high-quality software contributing to projects that have a significant impact on the business.\nSimulate robot motion using internal simulation tools during feature development.\nDevelop motion planning algorithms and state machines for robotic manipulators.\nDesign, develop, and implement control software for specialized end-of-arm tools and grippers.\nDefine metrics for pick and place quality in the field with different sensors and cameras.\nWork broadly across teams to facilitate integration of specialized manipulation systems from hardware to software.\nOptimize processes using data-driven and machine learning, with ownership from data curation and training to inference.\nSupport system testing of systems and subsystems. \nProvide technical support for hardware design as needed. \nTroubleshoot system problems in production or design by investigating issues related to product performance or production difficulties. \nEvaluate and process engineering change requests\nWhat you’ll need\nPursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or related field.\nExperience with general-purpose programming environments, languages and scripting systems, data analysis packages: Linux, C++, Python, Matlab. \nKnowledge of Git, Jira, and Confluence or similar tools. \nFamiliarity with DevOps or CI/CD - GitHub automation and docker or Jenkins.\nExperience with simulation tools such as MuJoCo, NVIDIA IsaacSim, PyBullet.\nFamiliarity with Forward Kinematics and Inverse Kinematics for custom kinematic chains.\nStrong Linear Algebra and 3D Geometry fundamentals.\nFamiliarity with Machine Learning Fundamentals and Libraries\nExperience with libraries such as OMPL, OpenRAVE, NVIDIA cuRobo, OpenCV, PCL, ROS, Boost, Eigen.\nHands on experience with embedded systems and platforms like Arduino, STM32, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi. Integrating sensors, motors and actuators using CAN, SPI, I2C. \nPreferred experience with either of the following: motion planning algorithms, trajectory optimization and grasping.\nYou are interested in working in a dynamic Agile/Scrum based environment.\nYou possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures and algorithms.\nOur Environment\nUp to 10% of travel may be required.
