Intelligent software orchestrates advanced robots in a high-density, end-to-end system - reinventing warehouse automation for increased efficiency, speed and flexibility.\nWhat we need\nSymbotic is seeking a Program Manager, Vision and Robotics to join our Vision and Robotics team within our Cell Engineering organization. Your job will be to own program execution across a portfolio of vision and robotics initiatives, bringing structure and visibility to priorities, schedules, releases, risks and cross-functional dependencies while enabling engineering leaders to focus on technical delivery.\nWhat we do\nThe Vision and Robotics team develops the technologies that enable Symbotic's robotic cells to perceive, interact with and manipulate the physical environment. The team works across computer vision, perception, robotics and software while partnering closely with controls, cell hardware and other engineering organizations to turn new capabilities into integrated, deployable solutions.\nOur work spans new product development, continuous improvement of deployed systems, integration and validation, and the coordination required to introduce new features into customer environments. As Symbotic's installed base and portfolio continue to grow, the team manages an increasing number of parallel initiatives and dependencies across engineering, Customer Success and deployment functions.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn end-to-end program planning and execution across a portfolio of Vision and Robotics initiatives, including scope, milestones, schedules, dependencies, risks and delivery commitments.\nBuild and maintain an integrated roadmap across vision, perception, robotics, software, controls and cell hardware workstreams, translating competing priorities into executable plans.\nProactively identify delivery risks, capacity constraints and gaps, driving decisions and escalation before they impact engineering or customer commitments.\nManage engineering execution through Jira, including backlogs, releases, dependencies, issue tracking and program-health metrics, while continuously improving the processes used to manage work.\nPartner with engineering managers and product stakeholders on prioritization, resource needs, change control and schedule trade-offs, providing clear visibility to leadership.\nCoordinate integration, validation and release readiness across development labs, testing environments and customer sites, including demonstrations, acceptance activities and deployment milestones.\nAct as a connective point across Engineering, Customer Success, program teams and other stakeholders, ensuring new capabilities and continuous-improvement work are coordinated from development through real-world deployment.\nWhat you'll need\nMinimum of 8 years of related experience or equivalent work experience\nBS in Engineering, Robotics, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree is a plus.\nDemonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs involving robotics, industrial automation, computer vision, perception, sensing, mechatronics, or similarly integrated systems.\nStrong understanding of hardware, software, controls, systems integration and product-development processes, with experience in NPD and/or NPI environments.\nProven ability to develop integrated schedules, manage cross-team dependencies, assess risk and capacity, and drive scope and priority decisions across multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nHands-on proficiency with Jira and experience using program plans, dashboards and metrics to provide clear visibility into delivery health; experience with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel is beneficial.\nStrong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to operate autonomously, challenge priorities constructively and drive alignment across engineers, engineering leaders, executives, customers and external partners.\n\nOur Environment\nUp to 20% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.\nEmployees may be required to use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines.
