Symbotic is an American warehouse automation company founded in 2007 that builds robotic systems for storing and retrieving cases in distribution centres. Its fleets of autonomous mobile robots move at speed through dense high-bay structures without the fixed conveyor lines conventional automation requires, which lets a warehouse hold far more inventory in the same footprint.
