Your job will be to support the successful deployment, maintenance, and service of robotics and automation equipment at customer sites by developing spare parts strategies, maintaining BOM structures, supporting PLM data, and helping establish maintenance requirements.\nWhat we do\nThe Service Readiness team helps ensure Symbotic's automation and robotics equipment is ready to be effectively maintained and supported throughout its lifecycle. The team partners closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Field Service to develop service materials, equipment data, spare parts requirements, and maintenance information that support customer site operations.\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop spare parts lists for new robotics and automation equipment during product development and sustaining support.\nMaintain maintenance and operations BOM structures to support equipment upkeep.\nDevelop and source customer site spare parts lists in collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Field Service.\nSupport part creation and release within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) database, including reviewing and updating datasheets and sourcing information.\nDevelop equipment asset lists and support the setup of parts, asset data, and planned maintenance requirements within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nProvide technical input for service documentation and help identify field support tools, test equipment, and spare parts requirements.\nProvide service-related feedback to support product improvements and equipment supportability.\nWhat you'll need\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience working with BOM structures, including reviewing and submitting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\nExperience reading or developing engineering drawings using PLM or CAD tools.\nStrong knowledge of robotics and automation equipment or a willingness to learn new technologies.\nExperience with CMMS and maintenance requirements a plus.\nProficiency in Excel with the ability to work with large datasets.\nOur Environment\nUp to 15% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company HQ.\nEmployees may be required to use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines.
