The Site Installation Manager primary goal is to ensure the system is installedin a timely manner, within budget, and delivered without defect through commissioning and testing to the operations team. This position will be a highly visible role and interact with all departments and levels across the company including executive management.\nThis is a high-travel, site-based role requiring approximately 80%of travelthroughout the year. The Site Installation Manager is expected to work primarily at active customer installation sites for the duration of the project.\nWhatwedo\nThe Site Installationteamoversees theinstallationofSymboticautomation systems on customer sites. Theyare responsible forensuring the systems are installed as designed and at a high quality on schedule and under budget. This group will partner very closely with theSymboticPM and commissioning team.\nWhatyou’lldo\nManage and lead site specific Requests for Information (RFIs); Receive, escalate, and respond to all contractor and vendor RFIsin accordance withprocess SLAs.\n\nManage and update Golden Prerequisite (GPR)-Maintaindaily site installation progress and commissioning readiness through the GPR tool.\n\nMaintain and Manage Site Bulletins to ensure site contractors and vendors understand the detail and scope of work for engineering bulletins,maintainbulletin matrix,validatework completion.\n\nManage and lead andvalidatecontractors and vendors deliver quality by 650 Checklists.\n\nMonitor and ensure that all missing material request validation requested from site are verified, recorded properly, and documented in the missing material matrix along with a root cause.\n\nSupport Field Change Request (FCR) Validation for site efforts in reviewing and assessing the validity of site FCRs along with the resource requirements and cost before project management issuance of purchase orders.\n\nUpon the completion of Mechanical and Electrical installation scope, support the site team in the demobilization of all installation resources and materials.\n\nWhatyou’llneed\nBachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or related fieldrequired.\n\nMinimum of7yearstrade experience in integration, construction management, or automation installationrequired.\n\nMinimum 3years experiencesupervising or managing teams, trades contractors.\n\nExperience with industrial/robotic automation projects and ASRS projects.\n\nGood negotiation and relationship skills, both in directing the technical team and ability to manage and reach solutions to competing priorities.\n\nExperience with using metrics and data analysis to drive process improvements.\n\nAbility to provide critical technical thinking at the team level to triggerappropriate discussionsaround requirements, design, and process challenges that the team may face.\n\nAbility to travel up to 80%.\n\nOurEnvironment\nHybrid, travel-based position.Access to major airport preferred.\n\nTravel isrequiredup to 80% of the time.Employeemust have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. Ourmain officeis in Wilmington, MA. The person taking this position willbe requiredto perform work at our customer installation locations for extended periods of time where equipment is installed and ready for commissioning.\n\nThe employee is responsibleto owna credit card andmanageexpenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.\n\nThe employee isfrequentlyrequired to walk and reach with hands and arms.\n\nThe employeeis routinely required towork at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\n\nThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\n\nMustcomply withall safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocols.\n\nApproximately 80% of time will be spent on a construction site with PPErequired(hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness).\n\nThere will be steep stairs to climb into the structure. You maybe requiredto routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.\n\nYou will regularly be near railings that are high off the ground.\n\nSubject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes.
