Your job will be to design, build, and deliver real-time applications that support the production management of mobile robots, lifts, cases, and warehouse automation hardware. As a senior technical contributor, you will help develop production-quality software across web, desktop, mobile, and backend platforms while collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.\nWhat we do\nTheSoftware Engineering Team is part of theTechnology organization, which is responsible for building and delivering the software platforms that power Symbotic's AI-driven warehouse automation solutions. Our teams develop the applications, services, and user experiences that enable real-time control, monitoring, and optimization of robotic systems used by some of the world's largest retail, wholesale, and food & beverage companies.\nWhatyou’lldo\nDesign and develop real-time applications for production management of mobile robots, lifts, cases, and hardware\n\nDevelop applications that span desktop, mobile and web technology stacksutilizingthe following technologies: recent React or Angular, C# .NET, XAML, RabbitMQ, SQL\n\nBuild responsive React components and modules (HTML, CSS/SCSS, TypeScript) with a focus on reusable patterns\n\nIntegrate with backend services: consume REST APIs, exchange messages via RabbitMQ, and leverageSignalRfor real-time updates\n\nWrite maintainable code with unit tests; contribute to end-to-end andcomponenttests as needed\n\nCollaborate with other development teams and product managers to break down requirements, define API contracts, and execute new business requirements\n\nCommunicate effectively with engineers, UX/UI, DevOps, and management; provide clear written designs, status updates, and documentation\n\nImplement andmaintaininternationalization and localization across the product\n\nMaintainregular collaboration overlap during 9am-5pm Eastern Time\n\nWhatyou’llneed\nDegree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or related experience\n\n8+ years’ professional experience developing software applications\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including with engineers, UX/UI, DevOps, and management\n\n3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS/SCSS, TypeScript, and React or Angular\n\n3+ years of experience in C# and .NET\n\nExperience with RabbitMQ andSignalR\n\nSelf-motivated, with an ability to learn quickly and independently, and work in a dynamic agile environment with cross functional and remote teams\n\nOurEnvironment\nUp to 10% of travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.\n\nEmployees maybe requiredto use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines.
