Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
- Develop and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect data warehouses and analytical platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization across all cloud data environments.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership on data-centric projects.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and data workflows to support business intelligence initiatives.
Requirements
- 4-10 years of professional experience in data engineering.
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, and EMR.
- Proven expertise in Snowflake architecture and data modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
- Advanced SQL skills for complex query optimization and data manipulation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation), and orchestration tools like Apache Airflow is a plus.
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis is highly desirable.
