# Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that power analytics and product decisions. You will work across ingestion, transformation, warehousing and orchestration layers in a hybrid, Agile environment. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Python, PySpark and SQL Orchestrate and monitor workflows using Airflow and manage big data processing on Hadoop and Hive Build and optimise data models, including star schema and dimensional models, within data warehouses Ingest and process real-time data streams using Kafka Deploy and manage data workloads on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containers using Docker and Kubernetes Implement CI/CD pipelines
