scope, time and budget.\nMentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback and support professional development.\nEvaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and team productivity.\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions in partnership with product managers, designers and other stakeholders.\nDefine and drive technical vision and architecture roadmaps for scalable, maintainable, operationally ready systems.\nEnforce technology standards, facilitate peer reviews and implement robust testing and quality engineering practices.\nAdvise senior management on cross-functional impact, manage risks and strengthen controls and governance.\nChampion Agile values and embed DevSecOps practices into delivery workflows.\nRequirements\nProven experience leading engineering teams and driving technical leadership and architecture at scale.\nDeep technical expertise in Java and AWS services.\nExperience designing and optimising deployment pipelines, release strategies and test automation for high-quality delivery.\nStrong background in Agile delivery and DevSecOps integration, including coaching and facilitating ceremonies.\nDemonstrated ability to coach, mentor and build psychologically safe, growth-oriented teams.\nStrong organisational influence, stakeholder management and communication skills.\nSophisticated analytical and problem-solving ability, with strong risk and controls awareness.\nDesirable: experience with AWS Connect and serverless
