QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks, complemented by manual testing experience and exposure to AI-powered testing tools. The role centers on designing, developing and maintaining scalable automation solutions that improve test coverage, efficiency and software quality. You will work closely with product, development and QA teams within Agile/Scrum delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Design, enhance and maintain automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit, Page Object Model, Data-Driven and Hybrid) for scalable test execution.
• Execute automated and manual test cases across functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive test scenarios in collaboration with product, development and business analysis teams.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and perform API testing using Rest Assured and Postman.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools to improve test case generation, defect prediction and overall testing productivity.
• Identify, document, track and validate defects, and perform root cause analysis with preventive solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to Agile sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of QA automation experience using Java and Selenium, with strong hands-on Java programming skills.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and experience with TestNG and/or JUnit.
• Strong understanding of automation framework design, including Page Object Model, Data-Driven and Hybrid frameworks.
• Experience in manual testing covering functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Experience with API testing using Rest Assured and/or Postman, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of AI tools used in software testing, strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Good to have: AI-based testing platforms, Cucumber/BDD, JMeter performance testing, cloud testing environments, Agile/Scrum and Docker.
