for Windows desktop applications\nIdentify, diagnose and resolve bugs using strong debugging skills\nMaintain code quality, structure and organisation across the codebase\nCollaborate with developers and business teams to agree on the best possible solutions\nContribute across a range of tasks as part of a small, flexible team\nUse source control systems and agile practices to deliver work reliably\nLeverage AI-assisted coding and debugging tools to improve productivity and code review\nSupport documentation and optimisation of applications using AI-driven utilities\nRequirements\n7+ years of experience developing and maintaining COBOL applications\n4+ years developing and maintaining Micro Focus COBOL applications\nDeep experience with both back-end and front-end programming in Micro Focus COBOL\nStrong problem-solving skills and a drive to extend your own knowledge base\nUnderstanding of source control systems and practices\nExperience with agile development practices\nExperience with Pervasive / Actian database\nGeneral knowledge of Windows software installation systems\nKnowledge of GAP accounting practices\nExposure to AI tools and frameworks, such as
