We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead development initiatives using the Axiom tool within a high-impact financial software environment. You will be responsible for technical implementation, troubleshooting complex logic, and guiding a team of developers through the full software development life cycle. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in Oracle and Linux, combined with strong leadership capabilities to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure high-quality output
  • Ensure strict adherence to secure coding practices and industry best practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Review and test code written by team members to maintain system integrity and performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and system failures
  • Utilize design thinking to improve software architecture and user experience
  • Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies to provide project status updates and drive sprint goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Extensive experience with the Axiom tool and Oracle databases
  • Proficiency in Linux and Python scripting
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and project management tools like Atlassian JIRA
  • Solid knowledge of finance domain concepts
  • Proven experience in people leadership and technical writing
  • Excellent communication skills with C2 proficiency in English
