In addition, this role requires strong awareness and practical exposure to AI-driven systems, including Generative AI, Agentic AI architectures, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-assisted development practices.\n\nResponsibilities: \nOwn architectural strategy and execution across product lines.\nDesign scalable, secure, and AI-enabled systems.\nDrive both functional and non-functional requirements.\nArchitect intelligent systems leveraging AI capabilities.\nUse AI-assisted development tools to increase engineering productivity.\nCollaborate with architects and senior engineers to enhance enterprise architecture maturity.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role combining deep engineering expertise, AI-forward thinking, and strategic architectural ownership.\n\nArchitecture Strategy and Enterprise Vision: \nDefine and own the architectural roadmap across multiple product areas.\nEstablish architecture principles, standards, and governance practices.\nLead design reviews and architectural decision-making forums.\nEvaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, platforms, and technologies aligned with evolving business needs.\nDrive modernization initiatives including microservices, API-first design, event-driven systems, and cloud-native adoption.\n\nAI and Intelligent Systems Architecture: \nDesign and architect AI-enabled solutions, including: Generative AI integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, Agentic AI workflows and orchestration models, and AI-based automation and decision-support systems.\nEvaluate use cases for AI adoption across product lines.\nArchitect scalable AI solution patterns (LLM integration, embeddings, vector databases, prompt orchestration).\nEnsure responsible AI design, including governance, security, and compliance considerations.\nStay current with advancements in AI, LLM ecosystems, agent frameworks, and emerging AI infrastructure patterns.\n\nAI-Assisted Engineering and Productivity: \nDemonstrate hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e. g., code copilots, AI testing assistants, and AI documentation tools).\nDrive adoption of AI-enabled development workflows to improve the following: Developer productivity, Code quality, Testing efficiency, Documentation and knowledge sharing.\nEstablish best practices for secure and responsible usage of AI tools within engineering teams.\n\nEnd-to-End Solution Ownership: \nOwn all functional and non-functional requirements, including: Scalability, Availability, Performance, Security and compliance, Observability and monitoring, and Resilience and disaster recovery.\nArchitect robust integration solutions across internal and third-party systems.\nDesign high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and data platforms.\nEnsure extensibility, maintainability, and future-proof design.\n\nTechnical Leadership and Engineering Excellence: \nProvide deep architectural guidance across backend and frontend domains.\nMentor architects and senior developers; raise architectural maturity across teams.\nLead complex distributed systems design and problem-solving.\nEstablish coding standards, CI/CD best practices, DevOps maturity, and cloud-native engineering practices.\nDrive technical debt reduction and platform reliability initiatives.\nServe as an escalation point for critical architectural decisions and production challenges.\n\nRequirements: \n13+ years of total industry experience.\nMinimum 5+ years of experience as a Technical Architect.\nProven experience designing large-scale distributed systems.\nExperience architecting integration-heavy enterprise platforms.\nStrong understanding of AI solution architecture patterns.\nHands-on familiarity with AI-enabled engineering workflows.\nExperience in product-based organizations.\nExperience working in global/distributed engineering teams.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \nAWS Solutions Architect Certification (or equivalent cloud certification).\nExperience building or integrating AI-powered SaaS platforms.\nExperience with vector databases, embeddings, and LLM orchestration.\nExperience with domain-driven design (DDD).\nExposure to platform engineering initiatives.\n\nLeadership Competencies: \nStrategic thinker with strong execution capability.\nInfluences cross-functional stakeholders effectively.\nMakes balanced, data-driven architectural trade-offs.\nOwnership mindset with accountability.\nComfortable navigating ambiguity and innovation.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills.\n\nTechnology Breadth and Modern Engineering: \nPrimary Backend Expertise: Java, Spring Boot, J2EE ecosystem, Architectural Capability Across Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask), Node.js, Microservices and RESTful APIs, Event-driven systems (Kafka/JMS), API gateways, and integration frameworks.\nFrontend Awareness (Architectural Level): React, Angular.\nCloud and DevOps: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP;
