expected to operate using first-principles thinking, be deeply hands-on with code, solve ambiguous, complex technical problems, and drive end-to-end architecture and execution.\n\nThe architect will work closely with Engineering Managers, Directors, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to translate high-level product goals into robust, scalable, and production-ready systems.\n\nWhat communication and leadership.\n\nResponsibilities : \n\nArchitecture & System Design : \n\n- Design scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems using microservices architecture.\n\n- Ensure systems are built with observability, resiliency, and extensibility by design.\n\nHands-on Development (Python-first) : \n\n- Actively contribute to core codebases with high-quality, maintainable Python code.\n\n- Lead by example in coding standards, debugging, and performance optimization.\n\n- Build reusable frameworks, libraries, and internal platforms.\n\nProblem Solving & Performance Engineering : \n\n- Identify and resolve system bottlenecks (CPU, memory, I/O, network, DB).\n\n- Drive performance tuning, load testing, and scalability improvements.\n\n- Establish benchmarks and SLO-driven engineering practices.\n\n- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes.\n\n- Design guardrails to prevent 99% of known failure modes.\n\n- Improve observability (metrics, logs, traces) across systems.\n\nTechnical Leadership & Mentorship : \n\n- Lead a team of senior, mid-level, and junior engineers.\n\n- Mentor engineers in system design, coding best practices.\n\n- Raise the overall engineering bar across teams.\n\nCross-Team Collaboration : \n\n- Work effectively with frontend, backend, data, and platform teams.\n\n- Ensure features are implemented end-to-end in a cohesive and scalable manner.\n\n- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and leadership.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications : \n\n- 4 to 7 years of strong hands-on experience in Python (design, debugging, performance tuning).\n\n- Experience building and scaling microservices-based distributed systems.\n\n- Deep understanding of concurrency, parallelism, async processing, and event-driven architectures.\n\n- Strong grasp of API design (REST/gRPC).\n\n- Experience with data systems : SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch), Messaging systems (Kafka, Event Hubs, queues), data-intensive systems and pipelines.\n\n- Hands-on experience with cloud and infrastructure : AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.\n\n- Familiarity with observability tools : Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana (or similar).\n\n- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, NiFi or equivalent).\n\n- Exposure to Data / AI platforms (preferred).\n\n- Strong focus on code quality, testing, and automation.\n\n- Comfortable using GenAI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) to improve productivity.\n\n- Experience in working with Ontology/Knowledge Graph in
