You will own engineering delivery, architecture, technical quality and engineering culture while remaining hands-on where it matters.\nWhat you'll do\nBuild and lead the engineering organisation.\nOwn engineering delivery from architecture through production.\nTurn product requirements into pragmatic technical designs and execution plans.\nRaise the bar for quality, reliability, security and engineering excellence.\nStay hands-on through architecture, critical implementation and technical leadership.\nRequirements\nWhat you'll bring\nExperience building and leading engineering teams in a fast-moving product company.\nA track record of taking products from prototype to production while scaling engineering teams, processes and technical foundations from early-stage through growth.\nStrong engineering judgement across modern Python-based backend systems, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems and AI-enabled products.\nExperience building and operating LLM or agentic systems in production, including evaluation, guardrails and failure handling.\nYou use modern AI coding tools as a core part of your engineering workflow and can effectively review and quality-control AI-generated code.\nEvidence of making fast, high-quality decisions under ambiguity, including deciding what not to build.\nExperience in healthcare, clinical workflows, FHIR, regulated or safety-critical software, or enterprise software deployments is a strong advantage, but not required.\nExcellent written and spoken English.
