role sits at the intersection of product engineering, infrastructure, systems architecture, delivery, and customer solutions.\nResponsibilities\nOwn complex end-to-end technical implementations of Synapse products across banking, on-premise, private cloud, restricted, and air-gapped environments.\n\nLead technical architecture discussions with client infrastructure, networking, security, architecture, data, and engineering teams.\n\nDesign deployment architectures covering:\nnetwork topology\n\nsecurity boundaries\n\nauthentication and authorization\n\napplication infrastructure\n\ndata flows\n\nAPI exposure\n\nintegration patterns\n\nobservability\n\nhigh availability\n\ndisaster recovery\n\noperational ownership\n\nMake technical decisions and trade-offs required to adapt Synapse products to complex client environments while maintaining product supportability and security.\n\nDesign and implement complex integrations between Synapse products and enterprise systems, including:\ncore banking platforms\n\ninternal APIs\n\ndata warehouses and data lakes\n\nKafka and messaging platforms\n\nOracle and SQL Server\n\nidentity and access management systems\n\nlegacy enterprise applications\n\nBuild reusable adapters, connectors, APIs, automation, deployment tooling, and integration components where product capabilities do not directly satisfy client requirements.\n\nLead deployment and orchestration of Synapse applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, and related infrastructure tooling.\n\nDefine upgrade, migration, rollback, patching, configuration management, and production rollout strategies for client environments.\n\nLead investigation and resolution of complex production issues involving networking, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, load balancers, DNS, certificates, authentication, encryption, Kubernetes, application infrastructure, and client integrations.\n\nAct as a senior technical escalation point for production incidents and high-priority client issues.\n\nProduce and review high-quality technical artifacts including:\nsolution architecture documents\n\nAPI documentation\n\nintegration specifications\n\ndeployment runbooks\n\noperational handover documents\n\nnetwork and data-flow diagrams\n\nupgrade and rollback procedures\n\ntroubleshooting documentation\n\nLead technical discovery during the pre-implementation and delivery phases, identifying feasibility concerns, infrastructure dependencies, integration complexity, security requirements, and implementation risks before commitments are made.\n\nWork closely with Product Engineering and DevOps teams to improve product architecture, deployment models, observability, configuration, integration capabilities, and operational supportability.\n\nIdentify recurring patterns across clients and drive their conversion into reusable product capabilities, deployment tooling, reference architectures, or engineering standards.\n\nMentor FDE I and FDE II engineers and provide technical guidance during architecture design, integrations, deployments, and incident resolution.\n\nReview technical designs and deployment plans produced by other engineers.\n\nHelp establish standards and best practices for deployment architecture, integration development, documentation, production readiness, and client handover.\n\nParticipate in and help coordinate on-call or escalation coverage for critical client production environments according to agreed SLAs.\n\nRequirements\n4-7+ years of experience in forward deployed engineering, systems integration, solutions engineering, DevOps, backend engineering, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise technical implementation.\n\nStrong hands-on software engineering experience with Python and API development using FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks.\n\nStrong hands-on experience deploying and operating production applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux.\n\nSignificant experience with on-premise, private cloud, air-gapped, or highly restricted enterprise environments.\n\nStrong understanding of enterprise networking, including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, routing, load balancers, DNS, TLS/SSL, certificates, and network troubleshooting.\n\nStrong experience integrating with enterprise systems such as REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle, SQL Server, Kafka, message queues, identity providers, ERPs, CRMs, or internal banking platforms.\n\nExperience designing deployment and integration architectures rather than only implementing predefined architectures.\n\nStrong understanding of authentication and authorization patterns such as OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, LDAP/Active Directory, API keys, JWTs, and service-to-service authentication.\n\nExperience troubleshooting distributed systems and production environments across application, infrastructure, network, database, and integration layers.\n\nAbility to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to client engineering, infrastructure, architecture, security, and management stakeholders.\n\nAbility to create and review high-quality architecture documentation, API specifications, integration designs, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.\n\nStrong technical judgment and ability to make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous client environments.\n\nExperience mentoring engineers and reviewing technical designs.\n\nComfortable leading client workshops, architecture sessions, production deployments, and technical escalations.\n\nWillingness to visit client sites and take ownership during critical deployment or production activities.\n\nExperience working with banks, regulated industries, high-availability systems, GPU infrastructure, AI/ML platforms, or enterprise security processes is a strong
