If you're excited about building physics-accurate robot models and closing the loop between simulation and real hardware - this is where your work makes a direct impact on humanoid robot development.\nHERE'S WHERE YOU MAKE AN IMPACT\nImport and tune robot models for MuJoCo and Isaac Sim - making sure the simulated robot behaves as close to the physical one as possible\n\nBuild ROS2 simulator bridges, including ros2_control sim backends and topic bridging, to connect simulation and real-world control stacks\n\nCalibrate contact and friction parameters against hardware measurements - the detail work that makes simulation physically meaningful rather than just visually convincing\n\nSet up RL training environments using Stable Baselines3 or similar frameworks, enabling motion policy evaluation before hardware is available\n\nWHO YOU ARE\nEnrolled MSc student in Robotics, Computer Science, or Engineering - with a genuine interest in the intersection of simulation and physical systems\n\nStrong Python skills, with working knowledge of C++ for performance-critical parts\n\nYou've worked with MuJoCo and/or Isaac Sim (Omniverse/USD) and know what it takes to get a model behaving realistically\n\nComfortable with ROS2 basics;
