The selected candidate will prepare and manage design-based documentation (BOQs, specifications, take-offs), while also taking an active role in evaluating suppliers, preparing procurement packages, and conducting technical and budget comparisons to support commercial decisions.\nYou will act as a key link between the engineering, procurement, and site execution teams - ensuring that materials and subcontractor scopes are technically accurate, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Engineering Tasks\nPrepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material take-offs, and technical documentation based on project drawings and design packages.\nReview and update technical specifications for construction activities, materials, and systems in accordance with local regulations and client standards.\nSupport site execution teams by clarifying design details, verifying quantities, and tracking as-built data against project milestones.\nCoordinate with the design and planning teams to ensure constructability and early identification of conflicts or risks in design.\nDevelop technical content for procurement packages, including scope breakdowns, specification sheets, and BOQ-based comparison templates.\nConduct technical evaluations of supplier and subcontractor quotations, including conformity checks against project specs.\nCollaborate with the procurement department to assist in cost benchmarking, bid tabulations, and identification of best-value offers.\nProvide input on supplier prequalification and participate in clarifications, negotiations, and quality checks where technical input is required.\nFollow up with vendors and the logistics team to monitor delivery timelines, material compliance, and on-site readiness.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Master’s degree is an advantage).\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a technical office or procurement engineering role within the construction sector.\nStrong understanding of technical drawings, construction methods, and materials.\nProficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and general office tools;
