You will partner with our engineering and IT teams to deliver security improvements across our entire platform as well as advising on security architecture.. You will participate in our compliance activities. You will be working 100% remotely.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nManage application security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and penetration testing\n\nContribute fixes to vulnerabilities within our codebases and infrastructure\n\nAssist teams on security architectural decisions and testing\n\nParticipate in security audits and risk assessments\n\nParticipate in compliance activities such as SOC 2 audit\n\nInvestigate security incidents and breaches\n\nHelp train employees on information security best practices\n\nMust have technical skills:\nStrong proficiency in an object oriented design using programming languages such as, C#, Java, Golang, etc.\n\nFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).\n\nExperience with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server and non-relational systems such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc..\n\nStrong understanding of information security principles and practices\n\nHands on experience managing application security across multiple engineering teams\n\nExperience managing bug bounty programs\n\nManaged vulnerability management programs and reducing vulnerabilities across software stack\n\nExperience in investigating security incidents and breaches\n\nNice to have skills:\nExperience training employees on information security best practices\n\nExperience in conducting security audits and risk assessments\n\nParticipated in or Managed compliance audits such as SOC 2, HIPAA, etc\n\nInterview Process: At Syncro we believe in transparency and providing candidates with as much information as possible so you can make an informed decision during your job search.
