Learn more at www.syndigo.com.\nJob Title: Instructional Designer \nDepartment: Training Enablement (SUN) \nReports To: TrainingManager \nJob Summary \nThe Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, publishing, and maintaining high-quality learning solutions for internal teams and external customers. Working closely with Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and cross-functional teams, the Instructional Designer transforms complex business and technical concepts into engaging learning experiences that drive product adoption, knowledge retention, and learner success. \nThis role owns the end-to-end learning content lifecycle, including instructional design, multimedia development, LMS administration, learner communications, and continuous content improvement. \n Key Responsibilities \nLearning Needs Analysis & Planning \nPartner with Product Managers, SMEs, and stakeholders to identify training requirements for new products, features, enhancements, and releases. \nDefine learning objectives, target audiences, training scope, and success criteria. \nDesign learning programs, curriculum, learning journeys, and certification pathways. \nContent & Multimedia Development \nDesign and develop learning assets including eLearning modules, presentations, learner guides, knowledge articles, job aids, assessments, quizzes, videos, and microlearning content. \nTranslate complex business and technical concepts into learner-friendly training materials. \nCreate and edit instructional videos, software demonstrations, and product walkthroughs using Camtasia or similar tools. \nDevelop and integrate voiceovers using ElevenLabsor similar AI-powered tools. \nCreate learner-facing assets such as banners, flyers, infographics, learning catalogs, course thumbnails, and promotional materials using Canva or equivalent design platforms. \nEnsure all learning content aligns with instructional design, branding, accessibility, and quality standards. \nSME Collaboration & Project Management \nCollaborate with SMEs to gather technical information, validate content accuracy, and review training materials. \nManage content,review cycles and incorporate stakeholder feedback. \nCoordinate multiple learning projects simultaneously while meeting quality and timeline expectations. \nMaintain organized documentation, content repositories, and version control practices. \nLMS Administration & Learning Enablement \nUpload, publish, and maintain training content within the Learning Management System (LMS). \nConfigure and manage courses, learning paths, catalogs, assessments, certifications, and learner assignments. \nGenerate LMS reports and monitor learner engagement, completion, and effectiveness metrics. \nMaintain learner-facing learning portals and ensure content remains current and accessible. \nContent Maintenance & Continuous Improvement \nMonitor product releases, enhancements, and feature updates to assess training impacts. \nUpdate training content to reflect product changes and maintain accuracy. \nAnalyze learner feedback, engagement metrics, and course performance data. \nRecommend and implement improvements to enhance learner experience and training effectiveness. \nStay current with emerging learning technologies, AI-powered tools, and industry best practices. \n Required Skills & Qualifications \nInstructional Design \nStrong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning needs analysis. \nExperience designing curriculum, learning paths, assessments, and technical training content. \nContent Development & Multimedia Tools \nMicrosoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word \nCamtasia \nCanva \nElevenLabsor similar AI voice-generation tools \nArticulate Storyline / Rise 360 (preferred) \nLMS & Learning Technologies \nExperience withMoodle,LearnUpon or equivalent LMS platforms \nLMS content publishing, course configuration, learner management, and reporting \nSCORM fundamentals \nFamiliarity withVimeo oranyvideo hosting platforms is preferred \nProfessional Skills \nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. \nStrong organizational, analytical, and project management skills. \nAbility to collaborate effectively with SMEs, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams. \nAbility to simplify technical concepts for diverse learners. \n Preferred Knowledge \nProduct Information Management (PIM) \nMaster Data Management (MDM) \nSaaS products and customer education programs \nAPIs, system integrations, and related technical concepts \nAI-assisted content development tools \nAgile product development environments \n Education & Experience \nBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Technical Communication, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. \n2-4 years of experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Technical Training, or eLearning Development. \nExperience creating training for enterprise software products, SaaS platforms, MDM, PIM, ERP, CRM, or
