Learn more at www.syndigo.com.\nImplementation Lead\nRole Overview\nSyndigo is looking for an Implementation Lead to drive high quality execution of global enterprise PXM, PIM, and MDM implementations, ensuring strong delivery governance, technical rigour, and predictable customer outcomes.\nThis role is accountable for hands-on implementation leadership across customer-led and partner-led programmes, covering solution configuration, integrations, delivery quality control, and day-to-day execution. The Implementation Lead works closely with Solution Architects, Program Managers, Engineering, Product, Partners, and customer teams.\nThe Implementation Lead is the technical quality gate for delivery. The role enforces standards, unblocks complex integrations, mentors delivery teams, and contributes reusable assets to Syndigo's Center of Excellence.\nScope & Decision Rights\nThis section defines what the role owns outright, what it contributes to, and what sits elsewhere. It is the reference point for resolving accountability questions during delivery.\n\nAccountability\n\nDetail\n\nOwns\n\n Technical execution quality across an assigned programme or workstream\n Enforcement of delivery standards, configuration patterns, and technical quality gates\n Resolution path for complex technical and integration issues\n Technical mentoring and capability uplift of assigned consultants\n\nContributes to\n\n Estimation and technical feasibility input during scoping and change control\n Integration design in partnership with the Solution Architect\n Delivery accelerators, templates, and reusable assets in the Center of Excellence\n\nDoes not own\n\n Final solution design authority, which sits with the Solution Architect\n Commercial scope and change approval, which sits with the Program Manager\n Product roadmap commitments, which sit with Product Management\n\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\nTechnical Delivery & Execution\nLead hands-on technical execution across PXM, PIM, and MDM implementations and programmes, including configuration, integrations, and deployments\nImplement and validate complex workflows, business rules, and system behaviours across environments\nDrive data migration activities including mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover rehearsal\nOwn environment strategy in practice, ensuring changes promote cleanly from development through to production\nIntegration & Data Engineering\nBuild and support integrations with ERP systems, commerce platforms, vendor portals, PLM, DAM, and downstream applications\nTroubleshoot complex cross-system integration and data flow issues across environments\nDefine and enforce error handling, retry, monitoring, and reconciliation patterns for production integrations\nCross-Functional & Partner Collaboration\nWork closely with Solution Architects, Program Managers, Product, Engineering, and customer teams to align execution with approved designs\nCoordinate delivery activities across internal teams, System Integrators, and partners to ensure consistent outcomes\nHold partner delivery teams to the same technical standards applied to Syndigo teams\nDelivery Quality & Governance\nEnforce delivery standards through technical reviews, code and configuration walkthroughs, and quality checkpoints\nEnsure adherence to approved data models, workflows, business rules, and integration patterns\nContribute accelerators, templates, and best practice to the Center of Excellence\nMentor Implementation Consultants and raise the technical floor of the team.\nWorking with AI\nThe Implementation Lead sets the working pattern for AI-assisted delivery inside a programme. The role decides where AI accelerates work, where human review is mandatory, and how AI-assisted output is quality controlled before it reaches a customer environment.\nDefine where AI assistance is applied within a workstream, covering data mapping, transformation logic, test generation, log triage, and documentation\nSet the human-in-the-loop checkpoints for AI-assisted work and make them part of the quality gate\nReview AI-generated configuration, mappings, and scripts with the same rigour applied to hand-written work\nCoach Implementation Consultants on effective prompting, context supply, and validation technique\nMeasure and report the delivery benefit of AI-assisted work rather than assuming it\nEnsure partners and System Integrators follow Syndigo's AI and customer data handling standards\n\nResponsible AI and customer data handling. Non-negotiable for every role in Consulting & Technical Services.\n Use only Syndigo-approved AI tools and approved environments for any work involving customer data\n Never submit customer product data, pricing, contracts, or personal data to unapproved or public AI services\n Treat AI output as a draft, not a deliverable.
