The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, financial management, client engagement, operational governance, and successful execution of complex transformation programs. This role requires a strong balance of delivery excellence, commercial acumen, people leadership, and client relationship management while driving predictable outcomes across Agile and traditional delivery models.\nAdditional Information*\nThe base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is $160k - $180k/year & benefits (see below).\nThe Role\nResponsibilities:\nDelivery Leadership\nOwn end-to-end delivery of multiple programs and portfolios within the Banking domain.\nDrive predictable, high-quality delivery while ensuring alignment with client business objectives.\nManage delivery across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams.\nEnsure delivery excellence through structured governance, risk management, and execution discipline.\nLead large cross-functional teams across application development, cloud, data, digital, infrastructure, and AI initiatives.\nStaffing & Workforce Management\nOwn demand intake, resource planning, and workforce forecasting.\nPartner with recruitment teams to hire high-quality talent aligned with project requirements.\nManage onboarding, deployment, utilization, and employee transitions.\nOptimize onsite/offshore resource mix to balance delivery quality and profitability.\nDrive resource pyramid optimization across senior, mid-level, and junior talent.\nMonitor utilization, bench management, succession planning, and performance management.\nBuild strong delivery teams through coaching, mentoring, and career development.\nP&L / Commercial Accountability\nOwn delivery financials, including revenue, cost, gross margin, and profitability.\nManage project forecasts, financial planning, and revenue recognition.\nImprove rate realization and optimize resource utilization.\nIdentify and eliminate revenue leakage through proactive commercial governance.\nMonitor financial KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve margins.\nSupport account growth through solutioning, estimation, commercial proposals, and account expansion.\nFixed-Price / Outcome-Based Delivery\nSuccessfully deliver fixed-price and outcome-based engagements.\nDefine and manage project scope, assumptions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.\nLead change request governance and commercial negotiations.\nTrack burn rates, effort consumption, milestone achievement, and delivery commitments.\nProtect project margins through disciplined execution and effective scope management.\nEnsure contractual obligations, SLAs, and client commitments are consistently achieved.\nOperational Excellence\nEstablish strong governance frameworks across programs.\nLead executive governance meetings and operational reviews.\nMaintain delivery dashboards, KPIs, and performance scorecards.\nDrive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and timely escalations.\nImprove delivery predictability through metrics-driven execution.\nEnsure adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational processes.\nImplement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational maturity and delivery efficiency.\nClient Relationship Management\nBuild trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.\nAct as the primary escalation point for delivery and operational issues.\nCommunicate risks, challenges, and mitigation plans proactively.\nLead executive governance meetings and steering committee reviews.\nNegotiate delivery priorities, scope changes, timelines, and commercial impacts.\nIdentify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with sales and practice teams.\nDrive high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery excellence.\nBanking Domain Expertise\nProven experience delivering technology programs for large Banking and Financial Services organizations.\nStrong domain expertise in Wealth Management and/or Consumer Banking, including one or more of the following areas:\nAuto Lending\nMortgage Lending\nPersonal Lending\nCredit Cards\nRetail Banking\nConsumer Finance\nStrong understanding of banking regulations, governance, security, risk, and compliance requirements.\nFamiliarity with banking delivery governance, stakeholder management, production support, and change management processes.\nExperience working within highly regulated environments with stringent audit and compliance standards.\nKnowledge of banking platforms across digital banking, payments, lending, commercial banking, wealth management, and customer servicing.\nExperience partnering with business stakeholders to deliver digital transformation, modernization, cloud, data, AI, and platform transformation initiatives.\nAI & Modern Delivery\nLeverage AI and automation to improve delivery efficiency, estimation, productivity, and operational reporting.\nIdentify opportunities to integrate AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, and project management practices.\nBalance AI adoption with disciplined delivery governance, quality controls, compliance, and risk management.\nDemonstrate credibility in leading AI-enabled delivery without compromising execution rigor or client expectations.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.\n12-18+ years of experience in IT Services and Consulting with progressive delivery leadership responsibilities.\nMinimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale Banking and Financial Services technology programs.\nProven experience managing global delivery teams across onsite, offshore, and nearshore locations.\nStrong financial management experience with ownership of delivery P&L, revenue, margins, and utilization.\nExperience delivering Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery programs.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle, cloud technologies, digital transformation, enterprise application delivery, and modern engineering practices.\nExperience managing Fixed-Price, Time & Material (T&M), and Managed Services engagements.\nExcellent communication, executive stakeholder management, negotiation, and people
