The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HyperExecute YAML configuration, test orchestration, parallel and sharded execution, Selenium and Playwright grid optimization, artifact management, and Result Logger integration. The successful candidate will work closely with QA, automation, DevOps, and development teams to improve test execution speed, reliability, scalability, and reporting across multiple application environments.\nAdditional Information*\nThe base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below)\nThe Role\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain HyperExecute YAML files for automated test execution.\nConfigure test orchestration workflows for multiple frameworks, environments, browsers, operating systems, and application versions.\nImplement and optimize parallel, concurrent, and sharded test execution.\nConfigure test discovery, execution commands, environment variables, profiles, retries, timeouts, and failure-handling strategies.\nOptimize Selenium and Playwright test suites for execution on HyperExecute’s cloud-based grid.\nConfigure browser, platform, resolution, device, and capability matrices for cross-browser and cross-platform testing.\nAnalyze and tune grid utilization, concurrency, queue time, session allocation, and overall execution performance.\nConfigure test splitting and sharding strategies to achieve balanced workload distribution and faster feedback.\nIntegrate HyperExecute with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.\nManage test artifacts, including screenshots, videos, logs, reports, traces, network logs, and other debugging outputs.\nConfigure artifact collection, naming, retention, download, and storage processes.\nIntegrate HyperExecute execution results with Result Logger and other test reporting or observability platforms.\nEnsure test status, logs, metadata, failure details, and execution history are accurately published to Result Logger.\nDevelop scripts and utilities for triggering executions, monitoring jobs, retrieving artifacts, and processing test results.\nTroubleshoot failed, skipped, timed-out, flaky, and infrastructure-related test executions.\nInvestigate issues related to browser sessions, grid connectivity, test discovery, capability configuration, synchronization, and resource allocation.\nImplement retry and rerun strategies while ensuring that test reporting remains accurate and traceable.\nMonitor test execution trends and identify opportunities to improve stability, coverage, and runtime.\nCollaborate with automation engineers to make test suites compatible with distributed and parallel execution.\nDocument HyperExecute architecture, YAML templates, integration processes, troubleshooting procedures, and operational guidelines.\nSupport onboarding, knowledge transfer, and training for QA and development teams.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\nExperience in test automation, QA engineering, SDET, or DevOps engineering.\nHands-on experience with LambdaTest HyperExecute.\nStrong experience writing and maintaining HyperExecute YAML configuration files.\nExperience with test orchestration, job configuration, environment setup, and CI/CD execution.\nProven experience implementing parallel and sharded test execution.\nStrong knowledge of Selenium and/or Playwright automation frameworks.\nExperience configuring browser and platform capabilities for cloud-based test grids.\nUnderstanding of test-suite balancing, concurrency management, retries, timeouts, and execution optimization.\nExperience collecting and managing test artifacts such as screenshots, videos, logs, and reports.\nExperience integrating test results with Result Logger or similar reporting platforms.\nProficiency in at least one programming language, such as: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#\nExperience with Git and CI/CD tools.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.\nPreferred, but not required:\nExperience integrating HyperExecute with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Harness.\nExperience with Selenium Grid, Playwright workers, browser capabilities, and distributed execution.\nKnowledge of Playwright trace collection, video recording, screenshots, and network logging.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs and scripting for HyperExecute job management.\nExperience with test reporting tools such as Allure, ReportPortal, Extent Reports, or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of Docker and containerized test execution.\nWe offer:\nA highly
