Recognized with multiple employer awards, we are committed to building strong expert teams and a collaborative, high-impact work environment. \n\nWe are hiring a Release Manager \n\nHybrid working model – Novi Sad or Belgrade \n\nRole Description \n\nWe are looking for an experienced Release Manager with a strong DevOps background to lead end-to-end release planning, coordination, governance, and production deployment activities for enterprise applications and platforms. \n\nIn this role, you will ensure that releases are delivered in a controlled, secure, and efficient manner through established CI/CD practices, change management processes, deployment governance, and operational readiness standards. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineering Teams, DevOps, Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, Production Support, and Business Stakeholders to drive successful production releases and continuous delivery excellence. \n\nKey Responsibilities \n\nOwn release planning, release calendars, deployment schedules, dependency management, and production release coordination \n\nManage end-to-end release execution across development, testing, staging, and production environments \n\nCoordinate release checkpoints, including code freezes, build validation, UAT sign-off, change approvals, go/no-go decisions, and deployment confirmations \n\nDrive release automation through CI/CD pipelines, deployment orchestration, configuration management, and DevOps best practices \n\nPrepare release documentation, including release notes, implementation plans, deployment checklists, rollback procedures, smoke test plans, and operational handover documentation \n\nEnsure deployment and operational readiness through environment validation, runbooks, monitoring dashboards, support procedures, and service management processes. \n\nCoordinate deployment war rooms, stakeholder communications, risk reviews, issue escalations, and critical release activities \n\nWork with Engineering and DevOps teams to improve automation, deployment reliability, and release efficiency \n\nEnsure operational readiness through runbooks, monitoring dashboards, support procedures, and service management processes \n\nTrack release metrics, deployment performance, production incidents, release success rates, and continuous improvement actions \n\nSupport post-release reviews, lessons learned sessions, and implementation of improvement initiatives \n\nYour Profile \n\nMust Have Requirements \n\n8+ years of experience in Release Management, DevOps Engineering, Application Deployment, Platform Delivery, Production Operations, or related fields \n\nExperience managing enterprise application releases in regulated, complex, or large-scale environments \n\nStrong understanding of release management frameworks, deployment governance, and change management processes \n\nHands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build automation, deployment strategies, branch management, version control, and release tagging \n\nExperience coordinating cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Infrastructure Teams, Security Teams, Architects, and Production Support \n\nExperience with ITSM processes including Change, Incident, Problem, Configuration, and Release Management \n\nStrong risk management, issue resolution, dependency tracking, and stakeholder management skills \n\nExperience preparing deployment runbooks, rollback plans, release documentation, SOPs, and audit evidence \n\nUnderstanding of cloud platforms, APIs, containerized environments, infrastructure dependencies, monitoring, and security controls \n\nExcellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills \n\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent releases and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment \n\nNice to Have \n\nExperience working within banking, financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries \n\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms \n\nExperience with Jira, Azure Boards, ServiceNow, or other release and change management tools \n\nKnowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or cloud-native deployment platforms \n\nExposure to Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Bash, PowerShell, or Python scripting for deployment automation \n\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or ELK \n\nITIL Foundation Certification \n\nDevOps Foundation Certification \n\nMicrosoft Azure DevOps Engineer Certification \n\nKubernetes or Cloud Platform Certifications \n\nWhat’s in it for you: \n\nCompetitive compensation package based on experience and skills \n\nFlexible hours and hybrid work options, allowing you to achieve a work-life balance that suits your needs \n\nPrivate health insurance plan \n\nAccess to continuous training, accredited certifications, and a range of resources to help you grow professionally \n\nPersonalized leadership training program \n\nFitPass membership to support your well-being and mental health support programs \n\nComprehensive Referral Rewards Program \n\nFor any additional information or questions, feel free to reach out to us at . \n\nNote: One of the prerequisites for this position is that the prospective candidate must possess a valid work permit for Serbia. \n\nWe appreciate the interest of all applicants.
